AI/ML Engineer — Biomedical Knowledge Graphs

The Role

We're expanding Clarisyn's reasoning with a biomedical knowledge graph, and we're looking for an AI/ML Engineer to help design and build it. You'll work closely with our engineering co-founder to connect structured scientific data with our agentic reasoning system, making Clarisyn's answers deeper, more connected, and more reliable.

What you'll do

• Design and build biomedical knowledge graphs from scientific data (literature, clinical trials, chemical and protein databases)
• Integrate the knowledge graph with our LLM-based, agentic reasoning pipeline
• Work on entity extraction, ontology mapping, and retrieval over structured data
• Help shape the technical direction of the platform as we grow

What we're looking for

• Strong experience in AI/ML engineering, ideally with knowledge graphs, NLP, or LLMs
• Familiarity with graph databases (e.g. Neo4j) and ontologies
• Interest in the biomedical or life sciences domain (direct experience is a plus, not a requirement)
• Comfortable working independently in an early-stage, fast-moving environment
